Day Care
There are many poor families where both parents have to work and their children’s food, education and health needs get neglected as there’s no one to take care of them. Helping these little children get a good day care, GWE NGO opened a crèche for them where the elders of these families can leave their children in a safe environment from morning till evening.
GWE NGO India started its first child welfare program in 2009 with 10 children living in slums. Today we support 30 children, between the age of 1 year to 6 years, from slums and villages around Kurnool district through 1 crèche or daycare centers. The children are provided hot mid- day meals and snacks in the evening. Also, our volunteers provide them pre-school education and keep them engaged in recreational and learning activities.
